About Us
It all began in 1972 when someone decided to stop watching the paint dry and start selling it instead! That year, the first Paint Shop opened on Campbell Avenue in St. John’s, starting our long-time tradition of excellent customer service and product knowledge.
A couple of decades later, we decided to add flooring and window blinds to the mix. And not long after that we started carrying fabrics, drapery hardware, framed art, area rugs and more. With so many products and choices, we even hired a few experts to lend you a helping hand – and a keen eye for colour! Today, we have certified Interior Decorators at many of our stores province-wide.
In recent years, the Paint Shop has blossomed into the Paint Shop Home Decorating Center – a name that better encompasses our many products and services. But no matter how big or multi-faceted we get, we still embrace the values of the first little Paint Shop that started it all years ago. We just have a whole lot more to offer now, including that impeccable customer service that simply never gets old. |
